Electronic Dehumidification Systems
Installing a waterproofing system will greatly reduce the amount of humidity in the home, but often times it is still necessary to install a dehumidifier to accurately control the humidity level. If you keep the humidity low enough, you can prevent mold growth. Maintaining relative humidity below 50% inhibits mold and mildew growth, dust mite infestations, and bacteria. This lower relative humidity also reduces the out-gassing of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). There are many types of dehumidifiers to choose from and these are the models we recommend and install.
